The St George Orthodox Ministry was established in 2015 when Father Peter Farrington was transferred from the British Orthodox diocese to serve in the Patriarchal diocese under His Holiness Pope Tawadros. Father Peter now serves in the Diocese of the Midlands in the UK, and the St George Orthodox Ministry continues to support him in the various ministry activities he is engaged in outside of his congregation in Liverpool.
The St George Ministry website provides a place for the publication of his written work on spirituality, the Orthodox Christian faith and life, translations of texts, and in explaining the Orthodox faith. The St George Ministry also supports Father Peter in his travel expenses, in his own continuing professional education and ministry development, and in his mission activities online and in person.
